Running it

This morning was the first time I ran my program on my own (or at least what I have of my program so far). A couple of things I've noticed:

1). I'm hella scratchy! I think this is a result of me not really being comfortable with this program yet so I'm riding my toepicks way more than I should because I'm scared of speed. Which brings me to...

2). I need a lot more speed! I've been running this program in the small space of my living room so speed isn't needed and I'm able to hit my marks. But this doesn't translate to the ice very well. I need to pick up the pace quite a bit in order to be where I need to be when I need to be there.

3). I can grab in time! I had no issues with the cross grab spiral at all and the loop jump right after is fine. Yay!

4). My wonky camel still needs more work.

5). My choreographic step sequence was fine on solid ground but is REALLY bad on the ice.

6). I remembered everything!

I did two runs because they were both pretty short. I only have about 40 seconds of choreography so far so I'm hoping we can add more tomorrow during our lesson. Ugh, this needs so much work.
