I skated at the Y and there were just a few of us on the ice - myself, another adult skater working on turns, and a Senior-level ice dancer working on her programs. Me and the ice dancer basically took turns running our programs for the whole one-hour session. We each had two programs to work through so that was a total of four pieces of music that the other adult skater had to listen to over and over again on repeat. Sorry, not sorry.
Silver Free Skate - Oof, this is hard. I have the timing right on things but the elements are just difficult to get the hang of. But I plowed through and probably ran it 3-4 times. I just wish I had more than the first 40-ish seconds of choreography.
Free Dance - Same thing, I ran it 3-4 times and it got better each time I did it. This is in good shape.
So yeah, it was almost an entire session of program run throughs and I was thoroughly exhausted by the time I was done. I haven't been able to attend as many sessions as I want because of scheduling and being an adult but, when I do, I've really been pushing myself to make up for lost time. but on the plus side, my boots are finally feeling natural. The heat molding helped a lot!
